For the first time ever in Melbourne, The Chinese Valentine’s Day Festival is coming to Melbourne!

Qixi Festival (Chinese: 七夕节), also known as Chinese Valentine’s Day, is China’s annual celebration of love and the most romantic among traditional Chinese festivals. Each year it falls on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month. Also known as the Double Seven Festival or the Magpie Festival, this celebration’s origins lie in a legendary romantic tale involving astrology, numerology, magic, love and hope, which has endured for thousands of years.
