Melbourne Sweet Adventure

Sugar Republic

Sugar Republic is a totally dignified, grown-up way to stuff your face with lollies, play with balloons and jump out of a giant birthday cake!
Just a standard weekend right?

This delightful pop-up was the brainchild (or food baby?) of Allison Jones (the lovely lady behind the happy homewares of Lark) and there is definitely a running theme here – fun. This adult-focused but kid-friendly interactive pop up will have you happily reliving your childhood as you slurp on your own ice cream creation, dance in confetti and swing among the fairy floss. And no, those aren’t metaphors.
Don’t forget the giant gumball machine, Wizz Fizz rainbow bridge or fairy floss machine! This exhibition of our favorite treats, aptly held in the birthplace of the one and only Freddo Frog, provides fun for all (and is an amazing place to get that new profile pic). Bring your friends, bring a date, bring your neighbors kids…just don’t bring your dentist.

(And we have the insider tip – there are whispers of extending this one, so nobody has to miss out!)
